Easy to pull up--the recess in the base allows the cleat to be grasped quickly and easily.

INSTALLATION

Each cleat is shipped with a 1/8" thick backing plate which also serves as the cut-out template.
Drill four holes and saw-cut clearance between the two center holes.
Insert cleat from the top, and backing plate from the bottom. Secure with lock nuts.
